Wedding/Event Stationery and Signage

Payment terms: All orders must be paid in full before completion date. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.

Design process: The design process begins once payment or deposit has been received. The client will receive a digital proof of the design and must approve it before printing can begin. Any changes requested after approval may incur additional fees.

Printing: The client is responsible for approving the final design before printing. Once printing has begun, no changes can be made and no refunds will be given.

Delivery: Delivery times may vary depending on the complexity of the job, time of the years and size of the project. We will provide an estimated delivery date and keep you informed of any delays.

Refunds: Once a service has been booked, the deposit is non-refundable.

Intellectual property: All designs created by our team remain the property of Calligraphy Ink Ltd (T/A calligraphy by Laura). We reserve the right to use any designs for promotional purposes unless require by the client.

Liability: Our liability is limited to the value of the order. Calligraphy Ink Ltd (T/A calligraphy by Laura) responsible for any indirect or consequential losses or damages.

TURNAROUND TIMES

Products from the shop: Once a buyer has placed an order, we take 1-2 business days to process the order. Please allow an additional time of 3-5 days for delivery in Ireland and up to ten working days for any other destination

Bespoke Commission: It varies depending on the artwork commissioned, please check the times shown on the piece requiered.

The above turnaround time will always be an estimate. Whilst we do our best to meet deadlines there are rare occasions where circumstances beyond our control may prevent this and so deadlines cannot be guaranteed.  We will always keep you informed if there are any issues. 

Shipping upgrades are available : please enquire.

IMPORT TAXES / DUTIES

Import duties and taxes are not included in our pricing or shipping fees. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and must be paid at the time of delivery. 

CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel your order, we need to be notified ASAP via email at hello@calligraphybylaura.ie within 24 hrs of placing your order. if we do not hear from you by that time, your order will continue as scheduled.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

CUSTOMISED / HANDMADE TO ORDER: We do not accept returns on anything that is bespoke, made-to-order, made to your specific requirements, is personalised, or otherwise can't be resold due to a bespoke element.

CALLIGRAPHY SUPPLIES: We will accept returns / exchanges on our non-customised / non-handmade products as follows:

  • Within 14 days of delivery receipt.

  • The goods are in perfect condition and have not been assembled.

  • The goods are in their original packaging and re-saleable conditions.

DAMAGE / FAULTY ITEM: If your order is damaged or faulty please contact us within 7 days of receiving it and we can evaluate options to rectify the inconvenience.  Please note we can accept no liability for damaged or faulty goods if you do not notify us of the damage/faulty within 7 days of receipt.

We do not accept returns due to customer input or typographical errors. We copy and paste directly from the customer's notes at time of purchase. 

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

We will endeavour to process your refund as soon as possible, and the credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Unfortunately, we do not process refunds for booked stationery services, signage, custom orders and commissions.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS 

If you haven’t received a refund, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank/Paypal. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

 RETURN SHIPPING 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance when returning items.
